This is a small (8 x 10 inch) oil bar painting that I am working on, using one of my photos as a reference. (I took the photo at Long Hill Gardens, and it is posted here on October 18.) This morning I started added some dark areas, using some darker green to figure out where I want the leaves (and stems) to go. I think I may still adjust the position of the apples. I am not sure yet. But I am sure that I love to paint.
