I started this painting yesterday, and this is how it looked after I worked on it again this morning. This is based on a photo that I took near Glenwood Springs, Colorado, during a family trip. (See posts for October 11 and 12.) Today I revised the top silhouette of the mountains, and then began adding that Colorado sage green. Still a ways to go and things to fix, but I am optimistic about this painting. I am hoping to finish this in time to include it in my solo show "Colorado Memories" at Galatea, coming right up (in November).
